Introduction

A half-day programme providing delegates with the skills, knowledge and understanding of the measures required to prevent and manage robbery situations within the workplace.

This course is designed for managers and employees who have cash transportation and/or cash-handling responsibilities.

Course Content

• How to recognise and manage the disorientation encountered when a robbery occurs
• How to apply an effective model of observation
• Effective methods of verbal and non-verbal communication with the victim of a robbery
• How to define the key elements of post-scene management and robbery prevention
• The common symptoms of Post -Traumatic Stress Disorder

On completion of this course, delegates will:

• Be better prepared to deal with the effects of a robbery
• Be able to communicate effectively with the victim of a robbery
• Be equipped to recall the events of a robbery
• Be able to recommend improvements within the workplace to help prevent another robbery
